You are invited to virtually attend the 10th NAWRDES Forum on DECEMBER 2nd which, this year, has a focus on pain and utilising inter-disciplinary learnings to mitigate and/or eliminate.
The event will be Chaired by Prof Alan Tilbrook (QAAFI), Prof Mark Hutchinson (University of Adelaide) and Dr Alison Small (CSIRO) and will be presented in 3 sessions with ample time for discussion. 1. Meat and Livestock Australia have released a revised edition of the "Fit To Load Guide"
You can download the guide here The 2019 Forum will change format to allow for greater discussion and a more thorough consideration of animal welfare priorities across the livestock sectors. The event will be hosted by the University of Melbourne and further details will come out nearer to the event.
Wednesday 6th November This day will focus on exciting new developments in animal welfare RD&E and will feature a keynote address which will consider the issue of practice change in animal management. This day will be open to all. Thursday 7th November Invitations will be extended to providers and funders of animal welfare RD&E, Governments and animal welfare groups to workshop priorities and capability for cross-sectoral animal welfare issues. |
